The Forks of the Wabash Pioneer Festival features re-enactors portraying life in the mid-1800s in the festival’s Pioneer Village, Olde Towne, Native American and Civil War encampments. Visitors can watch as craftsmen, blacksmiths, wood carvers, potters and entertainers recreate the everyday life of their forefathers. Antique engines, tractors, cars, and bicycles will be on display and shoppers can peruse through antiques, crafts, and the Farmers’ Market along with a tempting variety of delicious food and snacks. There’s also a Youngins’ Fun area just for kids featuring pioneer games and activities. Admission charged, free parking. 800-848-4282
